From today, Nansen users can discover new opportunities, research any Solana token or address, track and monitor Solana activity, and leverage best-in-class labeling to gain an edge in the market – all in one place. And that’s just the beginning.

We can confidently say there is nothing better on the market for Solana analytics for investors and teams alike.

Unlock Advanced Solana Analytics with Nansen

What can you do with Nansen on Solana? It’ll be quicker to tell you what you can’t do. We have everything from token discovery to wallet analysis, including new Solana-specific labels, unique features exclusive to Nansen like Solana Signals, and more.

When we say we’re Solana's most advanced analytics platform, we mean it.

So, let’s show you how to use everything we have to offer with this short video our PM for Solana has put together.

If you want a deeper understanding, continue to read this blog post as we explain every feature and some of the many ways you can use them to win onchain.

Research Any Solana Token with Ease

Nansen wouldn’t be Solana's most advanced analytics platform if you couldn’t research tokens. So let’s show you how by using the popular memecoin DogWifHat (WIF) as an example.

Within the first page, you’re presented with an overview of what you need to know about the token. This includes a price chart powered by TradingView, DEX volume, Market Cap, Who Bought/Sold, and more. You can use this to surface initial interest and use that to decide whether it’s worth driving deeper.

We then have a few more tabs that you can use:

  1. Balances: This provides a detailed breakdown of the onchain token holders. You can sort this by address or entity. If you want to go deeper, you can apply filters, like address, label, or balance change, to refine your search further.
  2. Exchanges: Understand what exchanges hold the token you’re researching and what addresses and Smart Money are doing with those tokens. An increase in supply on exchanges suggests addresses are sending their funds to sell or LP. A decrease in supply suggests addresses are accumulating the particular token.
  3. Smart Money: Discover how the smartest addresses on Solana interact with your selected token. Are they accumulating or selling? This tab tells you all you need to know and more.
  4. PnL Leaderboard: A new feature to Nansen that enables you to see the most profitable addresses for your selected token over a specific period, in either realized or unrealized gains. Use this to discover addresses and track and understand token sentiment.

Here’s what this looks like:

Spot the Next Big Memecoin on Solana

Unsure about what token to start looking at? Don’t worry; we have you covered. The first way is with Token Screener, which gives you a global view of tokens across Solana. You can filter on criteria like Sector or Token Age while tracking Price Changes and Onchain Token Flow.

For example, If you’re interested in being early to memecoins and are willing to take on significant risk because of the potential upside, here’s the setup that you may want to begin with:

  • Token Age: 30 days (this can be higher or lower based on your preference)
  • Sector: Memecoins (self-explanatory)
  • Market Cap: All (if you want a holistic view) or Microcap (lower market cap)

Metrics that we’ll be interested in would be:

  • Price Change 24hr (this is to show the top gainers as memecoins are often momentum assets)
  • 1D Holder Change: (if this is increasing, it may show demand, and if this is decreasing, this may show a lack of interest)
  • 1D Volume change: (same reasons as holders)

In less than 60 seconds, you can start discovering Solana memecoins like never before!

Discover Extraordinary Solana Insights Before Anyone Else

The other way that we can help with getting started in discovering interesting movements is with Signals. Signals highlight extraordinary real-time onchain insights and can be adjusted with filters to surface what you’re interested in.

To get started, go to the Signals Feed and select Solana. If this is your first time using Signals, we recommend that you keep “All Signals” selected to see the depth of insights available without needing to dive into Nansen.

Just look at the depth of insights available and how these insights are extreme outliers!

Signals should be viewed as a discovery tool. With every Signal, do your own research to understand why it was triggered.

Unlock Insights About Any Wallet or Entity on Solana

Nansen isn’t just for token research—you can also use it to gain deep insights into wallets and entities across Solana.

Let’s return to our DogWifHat example. We’ll show you what one of the largest holders addresses in Profiler and explain these features.

The portfolio for one of the most profitable DogWifHat holders.

When you open an address in Nansen, you’ll be able to see the unique labels that we have provided, their portfolio performance, the tokens they currently hold, and their trading summary.

Beyond this, there are three other powerful tabs that you can use to gain deep insights into the address you’re looking at:

  1. Counterparties: This provides a detailed list of addresses the wallet has engaged with. This can be used to identify other addresses linked to the address you’re looking at and understand what dapps they’re engaging with.
  2. Transactions: Discover the latest transactions made by the address you’re looking at to get key, real-time information about them. To dive that one step further, apply filters for tokens or set a minimum transaction value.
  3. PnL: Similar with tokens, Wallet PnL tracks your selected wallet's profit and loss, including both realized and unrealized gains.

Here’s what all these features look like:

So that’s what a Solana address looks like within Nansen. An entity, like an exchange, fund, or notable figure, looks slightly different within Nansen because we bundle all the addresses we have labeled together. The key difference is that wallet PnL is yet to be supported.

Understand How Any Solana Wallet Engages With a Token

One of the most powerful features within Nansen is called “Wallet Profiler for Token.” This allows you to look at a specific wallet and see how they have engaged with a specific token over granular time frames to see when they have bought, sold, received, or received funds.

To access this feature, you must be in Profiler, right-click on a token, and then click “wallet profiler for token.”

In this example, we’re looking at a top address in realized gains for the memecoin SPX6900. When we select one year as the balance over time, we can see that they bought a significant amount with just over $1,000 and we can see that they gradually sold their entire holdings, making over $300,000 (30,000% ROI).

An Address buying SPX6900 early and selling for a large profit.

When we see this initial selling, we may want to create a Smart Alert to alert us when they make further sells and use that information as a potential signal.

Monitor Any Address on Solana in Real-Time

Timing is everything in crypto. Smart Alerts allow you to track any Solana address, entity, label, or custom label in real time via Telegram, Discord, or Slack. They give you the edge that others want.

For example, let’s say you want to track large transactions from the two addresses we’ve covered in this blog thus far. In less than 30 seconds, you can set an alert for any transaction over $5,000, keeping you in the loop as soon as it happens.

In just a few clicks, monitor any address, entity or label in your platform of choice.

Uncover More Insights with Solana-Specific Labels

Wallet labels provide valuable context to an address to help you understand either who is behind those transactions or greater context about their behavior. In Nansen, we have over 350 million wallets labeled across all the chains we support, giving you actionable insights.

Here are just a few of the new Solana-specific labels on Nansen:

  1. Memecoin Whale: Wallets holding more than 0.1% of the total supply of a leading memecoin.
  2. Early XXX buyers: Wallet that bought a leading Solana ecosystem token, like WIF or BONK, early.
  3. Top Pump.fun Memecoin Creator: Wallet is in the top 5% of pump.fun memecoin creators

On the launch of Solana, we’ll have EVM Smart Money. These are Smart Money addresses on a network we support, like Ethereum, that have bridged to Solana via Wormhole.

We also give you the ability to create Custom Labels for addresses within Nansen. If an address holds a specific token or acts in a certain way, create a label that works best for you. This way you can personalize your Nansen experience and leverage the work you’ve put in, to get an edge on others!

An address with multiple new Solana labels.

But that’s not all!

If you’ve made it this far, you might be wondering what else Nansen has in store for you. Is that even possible?

Well, the launch of Solana is just the beginning of what we have planned for this integration. In the coming weeks, we’ll be adding native Solana Smart Money Labels and making a number of improvements across dashboards.
